Go and Serve for 2020 has been cancelled. Camp Restore, the organization we partnered with this year for Go and Serve, has announced that they are not accepting overnight campers this summer. This means we will not be traveling to Detroit this year for Go and Serve.
Conversations are ongoing, however, as to if we can partner in some virtual, long distance way with Camp Restore during that week - either zoom Town Hall meetings, or some kind of service project we can each do in our own homes and then gather and send to Detroit.
We will be processing refunds over the next few days for any and all deposits and payments for Go and Serve 2020.
Additionally, our plan is to head to Detroit for Go and Serve 2021! So please keep Detroit and Camp Restore in your prayers, as we wait to serve the Lord with them.
I know that this news is likely not a shock, and yet still very disappointing. At least, that is how many of us on the Go and Serve Steering Committee feel. Remember our God is in the business of bringing the dead to life, of restoring and renewing and resurrecting! And so we have every reason to be hopeful.

Bracelet and Key chain Fundraiser
Make a $5 donation for a bracelet or key chain and pray for a Go & Serve participant. Bracelets and key chains are available starting May 12 in the Commons between services. These sell out quickly - be sure to purchase yours early so you don't miss out.
