Curious Christian

Please join us on the next Curious Christian docent led trip, to the DuSable Museum, on Saturday March 7.  We will leave by van at 9:00 and return at or before 3:00.  The museum is handicapped accessible and the cost of the trip is $30.00 plus lunch (which will be self purchased) at Kroll’s South Loop restaurant.

The DuSable Museum was founded in 1961 to preserve and interpret experiences and achievements of people of African descent.  It’s holdings include more than 15,000 pieces including paintings, sculpture, print works and historical memorabilia.  It’s namesake is Jean Baptist’s Point DuSable a Haitian of African and French descent.

It is a unique experience that celebrates a part of Chicago’s history.
